Hey Steven, I’m late to the game but have been binge reading these great entries. Fun fact - in 1993 I was in college at Western Washington University and worked part time as a bell boy at Semiahmoo. I’m pretty sure I was actually working there during the Microsoft offsite you describe. All of us bellboys hoped to take bags up for the Microsoft bigwigs and score a great tip! IIRC when I joined July 2, 1990 there were 7200 employees. Or was it 2700 and I'm dyslexic?
